Restaurants Unlimited, Inc. offers a comprehensive benefits package for management. Highlights include:


Medical
RUI offers a choice of two plans: PPO Care and PPO Buy-up. You choose which works better for you.


Dental
Protecting your pearly whites? RUI's dental plan has a low yearly deductible and pays 100% of covered diagnostic/preventive services, 80% basic services, and 50% major services.


Prescriptions
Making prescriptions easier and less expensive, RUI presents two prescription options: At participating network pharmacies, present your ID card (no paperwork or claim forms) and a co-payment, AND/OR a Mail Order program is available for on-going maintenance medications.


Vision
Our excellent vision program can cover much of your cost of exams, lenses, frames, and contacts.


EAP
RUI offers you an outstanding Employee Assistance Program with up to five free visits and a wide variety of life issues covered. Financial issues? Legal issues? Child or Elder Care? Pre-retirement planning? Call the EAP for help as well as for support in dealing with social and emotional challenges. This outstanding benefit can be easy to overlook.


Short-term Disability Insurance
The full cost of short-term disability is paid by the Company. Benefits start on the 8th day of your disability, and will continue until you are no longer disabled or up to 26 weeks.


Life Insurance/Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance
The full cost of Life Insurance & AD&D is paid by the Company. The plan pays one times your annual salary for Life Insurance. In addition, if you should die due to accident, AD&D coverage can double that benefit by providing an additional payment equal to one-times your annual salary.

401(k) Savings Plan
This savings plan allows you to save from 1% to 50% or your gross pay up to legal maximums. Deductions are pre-tax and taken automatically through payroll deductions; both make it easier for you to save. The Company matches 25% of your contribution up to the first 6% or your pay that you set aside. You may choose from an excellent array of investment fund options. RUI also offers 401(k) loans. If you have an existing 401(k) balance elsewhere, you can roll it over into RUI's plan.


Consolidated Annual Leave
Managers are entitled to paid vacation, sick leave, and personal leave through a Consolidated Annual Leave program. Managers who complete training are eligible for 15 days of annual leave. After five years and again after ten years of employment, management and staff employees are eligible to receive an additional five days annually, making a total of ten additional days of annual leave after ten years of employment.


Sabbatical
After ten years of service, General Managers, Chefs, Managers, Sous Chefs, and Home Office Staff are eligible to receive one calendar month paid sabbatical leave for personal or professional development in addition to their annual leave.
